The best restaurants in Formentera

First of all you should know that since we are not specialised critics in cuisine, this article is written based on personal opinions, friends and comments on portals.

There are probably some restaurants we have left out that are as good or even better than those that appear here. But we will leave space in the comments of the blog, so that among all we can expand this list with your favourites.

Ah, it is also important for you to know that we have no interest in advertising. We simply want to inform those who do not know so much about the island, through our humble experience and opinion.

With that said, let’s get started!

Can Carlos, in Sant Francesc

We love the cozy atmosphere of its outdoor terraces and pergola, all surrounded by plants and flowers. The Mediterranean-style kitchen is tops, and its cocktails even better. You can tell that the owners put all their love into each dish and every little detail.

Es Caló, in Es Caló de San Agustí

Next to the sea with spectacular views, its rice dishes are its identity mark as well as the lobster with fried eggs and potatoes. It is perfect for a meal with friends or family, with an outdoor area for after-dinner liquors.

Ca Na Joana, in Sant Francesc

An intimate and romantic atmosphere accompanied by delicious dishes typical of Mediterranean cuisine will make you spend an unforgettable evening. You can also see the passion that the owners put in their business, with a very close and familiar service.

A mi manera, on the road Cala Saona

Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, with its own vegetable garden in the restaurant. The price is a bit high, but the place is beautiful, and for the quality of its dishes it is worth splurging for a day.

El Gioviale, in Sant Francesc

They say it’s the best Italian restaurant in the Pitiusas Islands. What is certain is that their spectacular dishes of homemade pasta will be one of the best memories of your holiday in Formentera. They are served in small frying pans giving the dishes a peculiar touch.  And they also have some desserts to die for.

El Mirador

We love El Mirador for its spectacular views of the island, and because you eat very well affordable prices. And to that in Formentera, is hard to find.
