It is essential to present a driving license that:

2. Have real experience riding scooters or motorcycles
This is the most important requirement.
It is not enough to have ridden a scooter once years ago or to have taken an occasional short ride.
When we talk about experience, we mean people who ride scooters or motorcycles regularly, or have done so for an extended period in recent years.
If you have never ridden a scooter or have barely any experience, our recommendation will always be to rent an e-bike, a car, or a city bicycle.
Holidays are not the best time to learn, especially on busy roads. During the summer months, the island welcomes thousands of visitors and traffic increases significantly.
That is why we stress that scooters should only be ridden by those who truly have experience. The consequences of inexperience can ruin the holiday you have been looking forward to so much.
What if you are traveling with a passenger?
Carrying a passenger completely changes how the vehicle handles.
The extra weight alters:
- Acceleration.
- Braking.
- Balance.
- Low-speed maneuvers.
If you have never ridden a scooter with a passenger, we do not recommend doing so during your holiday in Formentera.

You do not need to insert the fuel nozzle all the way into the tank.
Fill it slowly and carefully to avoid spills, and make sure it marks full. If you push the nozzle deep into the tank, it will not fill completely, and upon returning the vehicle we will have to charge you for the missing fuel plus a refueling service fee. We recommend taking a moment to pay extra attention to this process.
