La Savina Lighthouse might be the less prominent, near the port where your ferry form Ibiza arrives and where you can find our rent a car office. It is a beautiful white lighthouse close to the heliport and a charming lake full of small, picturesque boats you must visit; the Estany del Peix.

La Mola Lighthouse is the oldest and most important, built on a cliff 120 metres high the views are astounding – if you suffer from vertigo do not look down. Rich in history, it was Jules Verne’s inspiration in His novel Hèctor Servadac and it has also been used in countless film shoots. Beautiful to visit at any time of day, even more so at sunrise, sunset or under the light of the stars. A lighthouse for Formentera’s history.

The Cap de Barbaria Lighthouse, a beautiful lighthouse that guides boats between rocks and cliffs. Remarkable views, the lunar landscape in which it is located, and the sunsets. From here you can see the watchtower that once protected the island from invading attacks and pirates. It is the closest point of land to the African coasts, called barbarian coasts, hence its name. This lighthouse is the protagonist of a well-known Spanish film: Lucía y el sexo.
