You can’t just have one favourite, nor two, nor three! Tour the island with us and don’t miss any of the most beautiful and special corners.

Es Pujols

One of the favorite and mythical beaches of Formentera. Located in one of the urban centers, Es Pujols, as its name indicates, it is about 700 metres long and always in high demand during summer; ideal for beach-bar and sunbed lovers. Close by you can find two quieter beaches: Sa Roqueta and Playa des Canyers, both very very small and rocky.

S’Alga

To the north of Formentera we find the island of Espalmador, a private island, although open without restrictions to enjoy it. This beach is located on the aforementioned island. It can only be accessed by boat, so it has the advantage that it is not overcrowded. It is a virgin beach, with no beach bars, which makes it the perfect choice to enjoy a totally natural and wild environment. On the island there are other beaches, but this one, 1 km long, is the largest.

Caló des Morts

As we discussed in the previous post, it is a neighboring cove to the Migjorn complex. A small, rocky cove; the colour contrasts of reddish rocks and the intense sea blues make this cove a wonderful place. One of those landscapes that your eyes will want to keep in your memory forever.

Ses Canyes

Found between Es Pujols and the cove of sa Roqueta, It is a very popular beach, its shallow depth making it ideal for families. It is approximately 200 metres long with areas both of sand and rocks.

Ses Platgetes des Caló

They are a set of small coves of fine white sand, usually a little overcrowded. Located in the eastern area before reaching the small town Es Caló de Sant Agustí, with a picturesque port with traditional boats, they are perfect for snorkelling.

We could go on talking about each of them, and about more coves and beaches on the island, because they are all beautiful and different, but we’d rather let you discover them for yourself.

Book your vehicle with us and enjoy the best holidays in Formentera!

We continue our review of the best beaches and coves in Formentera.
