The island changes in winter, and although having a swim is not as pleasant (for many) as in summer, its beaches and landscapes have a unique beauty during the off-season months.<\/p>\n

If Formentera is enjoyed in winter it is for its peace and tranquillity, due to the great decrease in tourism. Thus, many accommodations, shops and restaurants close during these months, but (although at rest) the island is still alive and with all its potential to be enjoyed by the lucky few.<\/p>\n

If you are one of the brave ones, that looks for something different and avoids mass tourism, if you want to reconnect and stroll along virgin beaches and discover new sunrises … Formentera in winter is your place.<\/p>\n

And for you, we have made this list with the restaurants open in Formentera in the winter months. So you do not leave the island without trying its gastronomy and discovering its local products and more authentic flavours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In La Savina the restaurants Bah\u00eda<\/a>, Bellavista<\/a> and Peix and Love<\/a> are open all year round, and some caf\u00e9s in the port such as Art Caf\u00e9<\/a> and Amarre 32<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In San Ferran the pizzeria Macondo<\/a>, Ortega<\/a> and Sa Panxa<\/a>, and bars like Sa Garrafa, Pati\u00f1o and Verdera.<\/p>\n

And in the capital, Sant Francesc, you’ll find numerous bars, restaurants and coffee shops frequented by the locals, that also conquer tourists.<\/p>\n

Bon <\/a>temps, Nautilus, Rafal House, Es Cap, Es Mares, Il Gioviale, Es Rac\u00f3 des Pa, Pla del Rei … walk through its streets and let your intuition take you.<\/p>\n

If you go to the lighthouse of La Mola, you can also stop to ‘refuel’ in restaurants like Can Toni, La Vermuter\u00eda or Sa Figuera, in the village of El Pilar.<\/p>\n

And not only bars and restaurants, also some beach bars open out of season such as Cala Saona or People and Bartolo in Es Pujols.<\/p>\n

And of course in Migjorn, the longest beach in Formentera, restaurants like Can Dani <\/a>and Es Arenals<\/a> remain open, as well as some ‘chiringuitos’: Kiosko Lucky, Pirata Bus, 62, La Franja or Bartolito.<\/p>\n

Now you can enjoy Formentera in winter knowing that you can fill your stomach and satisfy your senses in one of its restaurants.<\/p>\n

Of course, before anything call first because although they open out of season, most of them usually close some days to rest.<\/p>\n
